1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using MyNirdeshak ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Description of Services

MyNirdeshak provides the following services:

  • College search and comparison tools
  • Hostel and accommodation booking services
  • Scholarship information and application assistance
  • Education loan comparison and application support
  • Career counselling and guidance
  • Study abroad consultation services

3. User Accounts

To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

4. Application and Payment Terms

When applying through our platform:

  • We act as an intermediary between students and institutions.
  • Final admission decisions rest with the respective institutions.
  • Payment processing is handled through secure third-party gateways.
  • All payments are subject to the Refund Policy outlined below.

Refund Policy – MyNirdeshak

MyNirdeshak, an initiative of Love Sharma Nirdeshak Foundation, is committed to providing transparent, fair, and student-centric services. This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which refunds may be granted for services offered on our platform.

1. General Principles

  • All payments made on MyNirdeshak are subject to this Refund Policy.
  • Refunds are processed only in genuine, verifiable, and justified cases.
  • Once a service has been initiated, refunds may be partially or fully restricted.
  • Strict timelines apply for raising refund requests.
  • The decision of MyNirdeshak shall be final in case of disputes.

2. Services Covered Under Refund Policy

This policy applies to the following paid services:

  • Scholarship Registration Fee – ₹999
  • Hostel Reservation Fee – ₹999
  • Education Loan Application Fee – ₹1499
  • International Connect / Abroad Study Registration Fee – ₹1999
  • Startup Support Fund Requesting Fee – ₹2499

3. Refund Eligibility Criteria

A user may be eligible for a refund under the following conditions:

3.1 Technical Errors

  • Payment deducted but service not activated.
  • Duplicate or excess payment due to system/payment gateway error.

3.2 Service Non-Initiation

  • If MyNirdeshak fails to initiate the service within the committed timeline.

3.3 Wrong Transaction

  • Payment made incorrectly due to a verified technical glitch.

4. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will NOT be provided in the following cases:

  • Change of mind after successful payment.
  • User submits incorrect, incomplete, or misleading information.
  • Rejection of application by third-party institutions (colleges, universities, banks, investors, etc.).
  • Delay caused by external stakeholders beyond MyNirdeshak’s control.
  • Once the service process has been initiated or completed.

5. Service-Specific Refund Rules

5.1 Scholarship Registration (₹999)

  • Refund applicable only if application process has not started.
  • No refund once scholarship application is submitted or processed.

5.2 Hostel Reservation (₹999)

  • Refund allowed if hostel booking process has not been initiated.
  • No refund after confirmation request is sent to hostel partners.

5.3 Education Loan Application (₹1499)

  • Refund applicable if no consultation or documentation has started.
  • No refund once loan application processing begins.

5.4 International Connect / Abroad Study (₹1999)

  • Refund applicable if profile is not shared with universities.
  • No refund once application/profile submission is initiated.

5.5 Startup Support Fund (₹2499)

  • Refund applicable only if evaluation process has not started.
  • No refund once startup profiling, documentation, or pitching process begins.

6. Refund Request Process

To request a refund:

  1. Email us at: support@mynirdeshak.in
  2. Provide the following details:
    • Full Name
    • Registered Mobile Number
    • Transaction ID / Payment Proof
    • Reason for Refund Request

7. Refund Approval & Processing Time

  • Refund requests will be reviewed within 3–5 working days.
  • Refund approval decision will be communicated within 7–10 working days after review.
  • Once approved, the refund credit timeline may vary depending on banking/payment partners and internal processing, and may take up to 180 days to be credited to the original payment method.

8. Cancellation Policy

  • Users may cancel services before initiation to remain eligible for a refund.
  • Once the service has started, cancellation may not guarantee a refund.

9. Partial Refund Policy

  • Partial refunds may be granted depending on:
    • Stage of service delivery
    • Operational costs incurred
    • Resources already utilized

10. Force Majeure

MyNirdeshak shall not be held responsible for delays or failures in refund processing due to unforeseen circumstances such as natural disasters, government restrictions, server downtime, or payment gateway failures.

11. Policy Updates

MyNirdeshak reserves the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time without prior notice. Updated versions will be published on the website.

5. User Conduct

Users must not:

  • Provide false or misleading information

All content on MyNirdeshak, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is our property or licensed to us and is protected by intellectual property laws.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

Our services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee admission to any institution or approval of scholarships/loans.

8. Limitation of Liability

MyNirdeshak shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services.

9. Privacy Policy

Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review it to understand our data practices.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
